Cozy Studio in Heart of Lisbon Bairro Alto

Negative: No AC unit. Especially if you are traveling in the summer.

Don’t stay unless you like small spaces. Positive: The location is great, I’m Portuguese and lived in bairro alto all my live and now I just come and visit 2/3 times a year. The only positive about this place is the location Negative: Let’s start from the beginning, front door I’m not the skinnier or fattest person however you have to enter the door side way as you won’t fit if you caring bags make sure you enter first as the stairs are straight away there reducing even the space. I got to the apt on 2nd floor nice room with storage etc perfect just one down thing about it was the bathroom again if you are big person you won’t fit. The next day after check in received call saying I been given the wrong apt and I needed to move downstairs which I said no issues I will do it, this is when I made the BIGGEST MISTAKE, moved down and the apt have no storage, it’s was small and you couldn’t leave the suitcase in the living room because there wasn’t any place to leave it, the door of the room to the bed doesn’t give you much space and you can’t even slide the suitcase under the bed. 1 small side table and 1 shelf in the room for storage that’s it. Bathroom again tiny when you sit on the toilet you will have your feet in the shower, there no shelving for toiletries I had to put all on top of the toilet. Complaint about it and I got reply saying I can keep my stuff in the suitcase or put under bed and use it daily, shitty reply I must say. Them upstairs guest jumping and screaming at 4:30am again I know the area and it’s party area and noise is comum. I was considering leaving and get somewhere else, but after the reply I had I would def not get refund or anything and couldn’t really spend another £700 on new apt.

Positive: Propreté, personnel top, très bien situé Negative: Un peu bruyant car il y a un bar juste en dessous mais parfait si vous êtes venu faire la fête

Central location but loud Positive: Cute apartment with all amenities and helpful hosts. Location is central, which is great for sightseeing and restaurants. Negative: It is extremely loud at night and in the mornings (because it is above a bar and opposite public bins). The rooms are also quite hot in May - no aircon, only one portable fan. Good for short stay
