Unterkunft Top, Sehenswürdigkeiten so lala. Positive: Die Kommunikation für die Schlüsselübergabe verlief via WhatsApp reibungslos. Die Wohnung war im 6ten Stock, die mit einem Fahrstuhl erreichbar war. Die Aussicht vom Balkon war traumhaft. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Es gab im Wohnzimmer einen Samsung-Fernseher, wo man sich mit seinen eigenen Amazon- oder Netflix-Account anmelden konnte. Direkt vor der Tür sind die Haltestelle für die Buslinien 727 und 760. Wenn man in der Stadt viel herumfahren will, lohnt es sich die ViaViagem Karte an einer Metro-Station zu holen und mit einem Zapping-Guthaben aufzuladen. Sehenswert waren der Zoo und der Nationalpalast von Ajuda + Schatzkammer von Ajuda. Negative: Für den Balkon gab es leider nur "Liegestühle" auf denen man nicht aufrecht sitzen konnte, sowie auch kein speziellen Tisch für den Balkon. Der Fernseher verfügt über keinen deutschen Sender. Es gab pro Doppelbett nur eine XXL-Bettdecke, was für 2 Personen schon ein wenig umständlich war. Das 2te Bad (gegenüber der Stube) ist sehr klein und hat auch kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten. Zudem gab es leider keine Zahnputzbecher, so dass wir Kaffeetassen dafür nutzen mussten. Es gab keine Kaffeemaschine für Filterkaffee. Nur eine Kapselmaschine. Haben für das Castello de Sao Jorge und das Hieronimus Kloster Tickets vorab bestellt (nicht gerade billig) Beim Castello konnte wir so die Warteschlange umgehen, aber es ist nur eine alte Burganlage mit schöner Aussicht. Innerhalb von 30 min ist man durch. Und beim Kloster muss man trotz vorher gekauften Tickets, 2-3 Stunden anstehen. Und das auch nur für einen Blick in den Innenhof. Generell hatten wir bei vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten den Fall, dass eine Masse an Menschen bereits gewartet haben, so dass man selbst keine Lust mehr hat sich anzustellen.

We were so fortunate to find this apartment. The location is wonderful, just a little away from the downtown core therefore quiet and relaxed. The manager who checked us in was friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating to allow us to check in early after a very long travel day. A complimentary bottle of wine was left for us to enjoy and enjoy we did. The apartment is very spacious and clean. Views from both sides are excellent. For 2 couples travelling together it was exactly what we had hoped for. If we were to come to Lisbon again I would definitely reach out and see if this location was available .

The property was every bit as advertised and pictured, so no unwelcome surprises there. The checkin was easy and well attended, thanks Caterina! This location is very close to Belem, where the Torre and the Navigator Monuments are located and the neighborhood was a quiet residential neighborhood, just what we wanted. If you can take a bus, this location is ideal for the inexpensive public transportation, easily utilized with Google to find which bus to take at which location. We visited all of Lisbon from this location with simple bus rides. Having the washer/drier was very helpful and set us up for the rest of our travels with clean clothes, just a we arrived - this is big plus for us. My only concern was that the oven never worked, so althoug we did cook a few meals using the rest of the kitchen equipment, we also were required to go out to dinner a couple of times, because the oven did not work. So four starts would be too harsh, considering all of the good parts of this VRBO, but perhaps it is a 4.5 star because of the oven never working, though we were counting on using it.
