Good neighbourhood but it is bit noisy Positive: The apartment was located in the barrio alto, which is great. And it is 3 minutes walking to a nice big square. The distribution of the apartment was efficient and the rooms are comfortable. There were 2 kind of pillows so you can choose what suits you best. The landlord had the detail of providing a bottle of wine when arriving. Negative: I have mixed feelings about the apartment. Although the location in Barrio alto is great it is true the street is very noisy at night as it is a party area with many pubs. It can be annoying when trying to sleep. Also in the mornings the streets around were very dirty (lot of garbage on the floor as result of the parties). The apartment is a bit old, and you can hear the steps when someone is waking in the apartment but also the neighbours movements. Also the doors were very old, seems in general it is needed to be refurnished. The bathroom doesn’t have any shelves to put your things and as we were 4 people we needed to pick up everything everytime someone used it. Also, we needed to pay 25eur to the landlord as out flight landed at 21:00 (and we informed about that more than 1 month in advance), I didn’t like it as I understand this would be better to be included in the price. The wc stopped working although it was quickly fixed. The kitchen is very little and there is no dining table in the apartment, the only table available is a little one in the kitchen but due to the room size is not comfortable for 4 people (for 2 is fine). Finally we asked if possible to leave the luggage last day but unluckily we were informed we couldn’t. I understand sometimes is not possible so it is ok but would be nice to have a little room in the building for this. We enjoyed the stay and the city but we expected bit more due the price.
